Description

1947 was the year Studebaker introduced the Raymond Loewy/Virgil Exner design so radically different from pre-WW II auto bodies still being produced in immediate post-war years. It was the often-ridiculed "coming-or-going?" body, featuring the drastically flattened trunk profile.
