Visit the LeMay Family Collection at Marymount

Take a trip down memory lane! The LeMay Family Collection is permanently open year-round on the grounds of the former Marymount Military Academy in Tacoma, WA. With over a century's worth of American vehicles represented, visitors may see more than 500 vehicles from the LeMay Family Collection, once the largest private collection of vintage vehicles in the world. Whether you're a car nut, history buff, or just curious about what your Dad used to drive - we have something for everyone! Collection tours are guided by trained docents and take most people approximately two hours. Bring your friends and family and enjoy seeing the cars you used to have (or wished you had) in this historic setting. The Collection showcases original and restored vintage vehicles in three different buildings. (Get Hours and Rates or Get Map & Driving Directions

The Green Building (24,000 sq. ft.) reveals over 150 vehicles, the majority of which are automobiles, plus a few light trucks. This is the first structure built by Harold LeMay in the 1990's as a vehicle display building on the Marymount campus. The building shows a true melting pot of vehicles, with years ranging from a 1907 International Auto Wagon to a 1990 Ford Mustang.

After completing construction in 2010 under Doug LeMay's direction, the White Building (32,000 sq. ft.), recently opened to the public. The structure was built specifically to house and consolidate more vehicles from the LeMay Family Collection. It features a three-tiered storage platform, and shows over 200 vehicles, including fire engines and vehicles of various American industries (such as dump trucks, refuse trucks, tow trucks).

The Red Building's rooms were converted to vehicle displays from its former use as a Gymnasium, Rifle Range, Assembly Hall/Auditorium, and Swimming Pool for the former Marymount Military Academy. The building's nostalgic atmosphere is enhanced by various displays of automotive memorabilia and over 100 vintage vehicles. Portions of this building are regularly used for banquets, corporate events, and other private social events.
